ASID Washington Metro is committed to helping rising interior design professionals launch and grow their careers. The Fuentes-Dumas Rising Senior Scholarship offers a $3,000 award to qualified applicants whose work is judged by local ASID members to be the very best of those who submit.

HOW WILL THE JUDGING WORK

The submissions will be judged blind by using a random numbering reference system to eliminate the name of the student, the name of the college and identifying information of professors/references. Portfolio items must not allow identification of the student or school.

Judging will be performed by a group of 5-7 ASID members including two Professional ASID members, one Allied Member, one recent Interior Design graduate within the last 3 years, and one Industry Partner.

The winner of the Scholarship will be announced at the Gala on September 28, 2024.
